on Wednesdays at 1PM Eastern

Join us for our September event on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 1PM Eastern where we will be interviewing Laura Ramirez, parenting author and child advocate on the topic of, "The Art of Parenting: Learning from Native American Wisdom and Ways."
All Creativity Cafe events are hosted by Creative Life Design Coach, Katie Curtin.
"The Art of Parenting: Learning from Native American Wisdom and Ways"
In these chaotic and rapidly changing times, it's a real dilemma for parents on how to raise confident, caring and compassionate children who can pioneer in creatively meeting the challenges of a planet in crisis.
In this interview, I will talk with parenting expert and author, Laura Ramirez about her innovative work in melding together native wisdom with modern approaches to parenting.
I'll dive deep with Laura to explore some of the most thorny terrain that parents must navigate including child discipline, and how to cultivate a generation of leaders, innovators and humanitarians who care enough to change the course of life on Earth.
Laura Ramirez, who lives with her Native American husband and two teenage boys in the sage-dotted foothills of Northern Nevada, is author of the award winning "Keepers of the Children: Native American Wisdom and Parenting." She has just released a new DVD-series, "Parenting the Native Way: Raising Children to Live in Balance with the Natural World."
Bring a cup of your favorite brew to the call, sit back in a comfortable chair and enjoy!
Bring whatever questions you have, too!
